
Meet Dr Nathan Roth
Dr. Roth is an expert in HPV and PAP Testing and recognizes the importance of education and the right treatment at the right time. He has been involved with Cancer Care Ontario, moving timely HPV Testing onto the "priority list" for women's health services in Ontario.
Dr. Roth is an accomplished Obstetrician, Gynecologist, and Surgeon with a distinguished record in diverse healthcare roles. His exceptional clinical proficiency in Quality Improvement, Patient Safety, Governance, Policy Development, Change Management, and Regulation instills confidence in his expertise. As a leader in "System Stewardship," he enables front-line physicians to enhance practice standards and health service delivery.
With extensive board experience, including positions as President of the Medical Staff Association, Chair at ACOG's Section, and Cancer Care Ontario Lead, Dr. Roth's leadership is transformative. He excels in governance transformation and fostering collaborative initiatives, inspiring and motivating those around him. He has chaired committees and led change management at international, provincial, and regional levels, driving impactful healthcare initiatives.
With postgraduate degrees in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution from Osgood Law School and Harvard and Process Design from McGill University, complemented by advanced clinical practice, teaching, and leadership certifications, he has played a key role in transforming the College of Physicians and Surgeons' Complaint and Quality Improvement processes. Recently appointed to the Issues and Policy Panel at the Ontario Medical Association, he is passionate about ensuring Ontario's healthcare providers have the tools and resources to be trusted leaders in the healthcare system. He is a teacher and lecturer at the University of Toronto and is involved in Innovation and Startups in Healthcare.

Dr. Roth has received teaching awards from University of Toronto, and NYU. In addition he was awarded the BMO Making a Difference Award by the Raptors and recently received the Life Membership Award by the Ontario Medical Association recognizing his work as an outstanding contributor to the Association, the medical profession, medical science and the common good of society.
